Includes Grease Service plus complete disassembly of the mixer with replacement of nylon worm gear (if equipped), replacement of any worn parts & motor brushes, resurfacing & cleaning of armature, sanitization & thorough testing after reassembly. Cost is model and parts dependent.
A Refurbish replaces all components with new factory approved components regardless of condition. This includes all gears, shafts, seals, bearing, retaining rings (e-clips), ring gears (on some models), motors, transmissions & powder coating when requested. Virtually a new machine. Cost is model dependent.
There is a malfunction and you just need it fixed. We troubleshoot the issue, recommend the fix, and wait for your approval. Most issues are correctable during the Grease Service.

KitchenAid mixers use a food-grade grease inside the transmission housing. Over time this grease can separate, causing oil to slowly saturate the seal and migrate out of the mixer.
In most models the transmission is separate from the motor, excessive seepage can eventually migrate past seals and through the mixer housing and damge the motor. If you see oil on the top of the power cord, this is happening.

Customers can drop off their mixer at a designated location and pick it up once repairs are complete. Usually next day.
